Love this place! The Saturday & Sunday brunch is plentiful & the 7.99 price can't be beat Food is always delicious. The staff is very nice & friendly. Have the delicious moist chocolate cake for desert. Enough for 2!

I'm not that impressed. Although other people are raving about how good this place is, I honestly didn't see it. the food is pretty good, which is the best part. However, it's barren and empty inside which makes you feel isolated, like you're the only one in the entire restaurant. But with the prices you pay for the food, you can easily go somewhere else that has a lot higher quality of food and a better restaurant.

We were here in early April last, before the snowbirds had cleared out- apparently the locals are no longer a concern for Anthony while the tourists are here. TERRIBLE service (took 25 minutest get a drink AFTER ordering), the excuse was they had a large party in the dining room- one table of about 14 people, almost no one else was inside! We were outside on the patio, ordered appetizers, half were under cooked when they arrived nearly 35 minutes later. We are done with Anthony's. The food is slipping, the servers have been cut to nearly nothing during off season, and when we approached Tony (Anthony of Anthony's) he was completely unapologetic and could have cared less! There are too many options in the Cape for this. We went mainly for the NTN Trivia in the bar to enjoy a nice evening with affordable, good food, but not anymore. We'll see how long his 70 over crowd sustains the place on the off season, because the newbies moving into the Cape deserve better treatment!

We are locals, have eaten here before and will continue to come back. Their 5.00 & 6.00 appetizers are awesome. My husband and I stopped in last sunday during the games and ordered wings, fish bites and fried pickles. Cant go wrong. Had a few Beers and some Bloody Mary's. Bartender/Server was very pleasant and very efficient. Will be back weekly, A great deal & affordable. Good place to just kick back & relax, nothing fancy.

I am still a little shell shocked. I'm trying to decide if I enjoyed my experience there or not. I'll start with the food. I had the fish and chips. It was quite good. Other food I saw coming out also looked tasty and well made and once I decide if I liked the atmosphere or not I will definitely return for the food. First impression: it's a dive bar frequented by an older (than me) crowd of regulars. Maybe it's different later or on a weekend? Anyway, I walked in and found my place at the bar. The bar tender was quick to see me and insult me. Someone a little more sensitive than I might have taken it personally but it became apparent to me that this was his schtick as he proceeded to continue to insult and verbally attack everyone else at the bar both to their faces as well as about them to the other patrons. It kind of reminded me of a place I used to go in Boston where that was the theme of the restaurant: insulting patrons who had come to be cleverly insulted. I'm pretty sure this place was not designed that way. Though all his talk he was actually an attentive bar tender, making sure that everybody's food and drinks were refilled promptly, even joking that he was being pre-emptive, not for good customer service but so that he would not have to listen to us ask for refills. While I was sitting at the bar, there was a Karaoke thing going on around the bend. The music selctions were consistent with the older clientelle. If you're looking to sing along to Frank, this might be the place for you. I actually meant to check this out more thoroughly but when I was ready to leave, I forgot. Bottom line: once I've explored this town more completely I might return here for another visit. If I ever have the inclination to be hit on by tipsy, toothless septegenarians I know where to go.

We tried out Anthony's by way of a Groupon deal and can say with confidence that we will not be returning. My fiancé and I both stuck with classics and ordered the Chicken Parmesan dish and the Chicken Alfredo. The marinara on the Chicken Parmesan was good but the chicken was tough and it was difficult to cut through with a knife. The Alfredo came out cold and I consider the canned Alfredo sauce in grocery stores to be more flavorful than we found at this restaurant. Overall, the internal decor is outdated but the service was great and our waiter was very friendly. The best part of the meal was the warm bread rolls and the salad.

Had a good first experience here. Restaurant looks a bit outdated but very friendly staff. My husband had the open faced roast beef sandwich, which he loved. I had the special of the day which was two large pieces of zucchini with a sausage, bacon, rice, and cheese concoction on top. Very tasty. Prices are good and the drink comes with the lunch. Don't bother with the free beer. Some watered down brew that was pretty bad.

The food was good I had the ribs, my wife had the seafood platter and my daughter had the shrimp meal, all very good and filling. I would tell you about the deserts but I'm still working on the chocolate cake (chocolate overload). Now the service, AMY is great and John at the bar is a very funny guy. This is my new place, someplace you can feel comfortable and right at home if you live in a dysfunctional place.

Below is Anthony's web site statement Enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner at Anthony's on the BLVD! Turkey all your favorites with NO CLEAN UP! CHOICE OF TRADITIONAL TURKEY DINNER STUFFING & CRANBERRY SAUCE ADULTS $14 All entrées served with a choice of cream of mushroom soup or salad, a mix blend of vegetables. Choice of baked, mashed, or sweet potato Delicious homemade desserts & pumpkin pie I was alone so went to Anthony's because of past good experience having dine there many many times. I was very very disappointed. Did not get the cranberry sauce nor the homemade dessert and the meal was a small portion that was in the take out container. Not even a full scoop of stuffing. Had to pay extra for mashed potatoes $2.00 and then $2.00 for pumpkin pie. Total $16.00 for a turkey dinner. My complaint is the small portion and being charge extra for the pie. We call to complain and the person who answered the phone blew me off. This is not like Anthony's but then again because it is a holiday my business is not important.

My in-laws frequent this place so from time to time I have to just "swollow it" (no pun intended) and go anyway. I am rating Anthony's a 2 only because they are super friendly and attentive to patrons. If you are planning on trying the breakfast buffet and think you will find multiple healthy options, give up that daydream now unless you actually like the stuff they call oatmeal here. The buffet consist of; cinnamon rolls, toast, grits, bacon, sausage, canned hash, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, and pancakes. There is also an omelet bar with a handful of veggie options. There is no fruit available. Everything I have tasted is bland and it typically takes 2 or 3 tries to find a clean plate in the multiple stacks provided. I suppose that for $7.99 including the coffee it is an ok deal if you just want a cheap belly-full but I prefer to pay a bit more for cleanliness, flavor, and more options.

My husband and I plus another couple come to this place every Thursday for tasty food and free entertainment (comedy and magic). There are usually 2 to 4 entertainers. The place is very clean although not so famcy. Anthony, the owner, is very nice and friendly.,,, he makes sure everyone is happy. I like the bread rolls which are free. You really get a lot for your money. Prices are cheap! A dinner plate is about $10-$12 with salad and veggies. Appetizers are $7. Beers are $2. We tried their big breakfast buffet on Saturdays for $7 with coffee. Anthony is a philantrophist. He shares what he makes to the needy and charitable organizstions. The servers are wonderful and attentive. I highly recommend this place. Try their srafood and pastas - they are all excellent!

Thought we'd try due to hubby's coworkers recommending..wasn't impressed. We ordered rum runners and were served mudslides instead that were way overpriced. Had lasagna, sauce was good but there were minimal noodles and tons of meat left on my plate. Husband had Philly cheesesteak, said it was so-so. My daughter did like the chicken soup, but didn't like their battered shrimp. Service was good, but we won't be back. Not impressed with the food.

Well, I finally was hungry enough, woke up on time & the parking lot was not full.Soooo All you can eat breakfast buffet with surprising good coffee. About 8 bucks. It is solid quality and good price. Yours choices are design your omelet, sausage, bacon, biscuits & gravy ,scramble eggs, potatoes, pancake, flapjacks, hash, toast etc. The folks were great the omelet guy good. Severs kept your coffee mug full as needed. Food was all fresh and tasty. It is very causal. So if you are really hungry come on down. 1 patron had a 6 inch high plate with nothing but bacon. MMMMMMMMMM bacon. A delight

sunday brunch is a great deal if you don't want anything healthy. Egg station is fantastic and has fresh goods but that's it, otherwise, it's bacon, biscuits gravy and what you would see at a holiday inn free breakfast. coffee tastes bland so if you are like me and enjoy it black, you won't.. you will need crème and maybe sugar. the staff make the food enjoyable. always have a HUGE smile and crack jokes to make you feel like you are at home.

Back again - this time for the brats. Great again. And with $1 drafts. Enjoyed it so much we decided to get up early on Sunday to beat the rush to the breakfast buffet. We can't pass up a bargain that great. We'll definitely be going back!!

Without a doubt the worst dining experience we have had in Cape Coral! Went there for dinner with our guests, BAD idea. Service was awful. Delivered out of order and slow. Manager yelling at his help out in front of customers. Charged the wrong price but I guess made up for by leaving other items off the bill . There was no use trying to express the problems as she was totally out of it! Gave it 1 star cause you have to rate it

This is a great local place to eat. Servers are friendly and attentive, the bartender is an act in himself, sooo funny. Food is excellent. Different activities going on, plus a great breakfast buffet. Definitely a place to go back to again.

Not impressed with the food or service. Had to wait a long time for everything. The deck was crowded so maybe the bar is better.

This was a really unexpected surprise. When my husband suggested we try Anthony's I was really skeptical but because we had a Restaurant.com gift certificate we decided to give it a shot.. I have to say I really, really surprised. We had several appetizers, a main course, dessert and drinks. I really can't tell you which dish was my favorite, they were all outstanding. Our server/bartender was John. He was a riot and besides serving and bartending, he also does a little karaoke. We are often in the area on business so we will most definitely be returning.

Great atmosphere, great waiter, food was very delicious. I had lasagna and was worried about the taste of the sauce coming from an Italian background, but it was very good, along with the lasagna itself. Decent prices too! Definitely will visit again!

There were 4 in our party on a Wednesday night around the first of April. We were seated at a table and given menus and asked for our drink order. I have to admit the decor could really use a deep cleaning and the artificial flowers have got to go. Not a good first impression, however the glass of wine ordered was a very generous portion for the price and two of us ordered the seared tuna and it was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. My husband ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and was very satitified and our friend ordered the prime rib and he too enjoyed it very much. I believe if this restaurant owner would give the place a face lift, his food would speak for itself. He is in need of a MAKEOVER. Oh, and they have live entertainment which also is a plus, but they can't just rely on the locals for their income. They need to also attract the out of towners like us! Please do something to make this a fun place to come for the whole family.

Tried to be open and give this place another chance but 3 times is enough and it's just not good. The food is sub-par and not worth the price nor even the discount coupon value. There are so many other choices in the area for fine italian food...pass on this one.

This place looks like it should be on "Restaurant Impossible". It is old and dated and dirty and disgusting with fake dusty gross flowers in the middle of the table. Definitely needs a major makeover!!! My hb started out with "Potluck Soup" which was fair, although my plain, dull salad had brown lettuce and two cucumber slices. As for the entrees, my hb had some type of chicken that looked liked dog food....Fortunately, he said it wasn't too bad, but could have been warmer. My son had Chicken Cordon Bleu that was fried? and covered in cheese and I had the most disgusting broiled scallops ever!!!! They were doused in garlic and a watery type of sauce and were very undercooked. I took one bite and could not take another. Actually, I thought I might get food poisoning!! The waitress was very nice about it and did offer something else, but I had totally lost my appetite by that time. The owner also came over and apologized, took it off the bill and did bring a piece of wonderful Turtle Ice Cream Pie that we all enjoyed. If you are seriously thinking about this place, I would say SKIP IT and go down the block to Tommy's Wing Shack and get some good food!!!!!! Sorry Anthony, but I just can't stomach another meal with you, but I do appreciate the free pie and you taking it off the bill.

This place should set some goals, perhaps aspire to hospital-quality food. We just had lunch there, on St. Patrick's Day, which was probably not a very good decision in hindsight, but having never been here before and seeing generally good reviews on Trip Advisor, we tried it. The parking lot was a mob scene with people making up spaces everywhere. Once inside we waited 5 minutes for anyone to greet/seat us as all the staff were busy with the many large groups of green-attired revelers. The decor, which is using the term very loosely, is horrendous: big, boring picture frames with what appeared to be unfolded pieces of cheap cloth sort of centered, round and rectangular banquet-style tables with no linens to cover up their age or wear, worn carpet, low ceilings with cheap tiles, few windows and bad lighting. Very dated and completely tired out. Once seated alongside a large support post in the middle of the room, we waited another 15 minutes for someone to bring a menu. One menu for the two of us, and one crumpled, stained piece of paper with the St. Patrick's Day options. (The "options" were corned beef and cabbage for both lunch and dinner, not sure why they needed a whole separate page for that.) The regular lunch menu appears to have been liberated from a middle school cafeteria. You can select a burger, grilled cheese, tuna sandwich, chicken fingers, etc - not even a salad. With such boring options we both got the corned beef and cabbage. The only good thing, we agreed, was that the meat wasn't dry. Everything was apparently boiled separately as there was no carry-over flavor between the items as you get when you make this meal at home. The cabbage desperately needed a splash of vinegar but nobody stopped by and we were unsuccessful in trying to flag someone down. Potatoes and carrots also boiled with no seasonings. The beef, while not dry, was very salty. Even the iced tea had a strange flavor and so much ice that every time I tried to pick up the glass little chunks of ice jumped out onto the table. Meal portions were generous but we're not going to eat such mediocre food just to be able to call a meal a good value. After waiting another 15 minutes to request the check we finally just left a $20 on the table (which was more than this meal or the service warranted) and walked out. I'm not sure where this place gets all the plaques proclaiming "best XXX in Cape Coral" but I'm thinking maybe they had their own in-house contest.

You may have breakfast buffet Saturdays and Sundays until 1pm. They have a good selection of items from pancakes, oatmeal, biscuits & gravy, etc. The staff is super nice and always smiling. Call me crazy but I like to be around positive people when in eating my breakfast. They have a big dining area, separate bar area and big outside seating. The food is always fresh. I always leave here full! I'm normally not a big breakfast person but love coming here.

I have driven by this place so many times and have seen lots of people out on the deck by the bar. Perhaps the bar is really great, but if so, it is not reflected in the restaurant. We went there for lunch and the menu consisted of mostly sandwiches. Between the five of us, we ordered the philly cheese steak, fried fish platter and chicken salad platter. We also got the "soup of the day" which was a broccoli cheddar. Finally, we ordered a child's fish lunch. The best I can say about the food is "bland". The soup had little flavor, and most of that was broccoli. No cheese taste at all. The fish was mediocre. The child's portion was the same size as the adult, only cut into pieces rather than whole. One fillet. The cheese steaks were tasteless. The chicken salad was plain. A bit of celery and some mayo in one cup of chicken. The only thing that stuck out as being good was the sweet tea. The decor was early American legion. There was a young man cleaning the dust off of the lights while we ate. Apparently, he does not understand the concept of gravity. Where exactly did he think the dust would go as he brushed it off? Not down onto the tables below him where people were eating? Surely not! We will not be going back here to eat. I can only recommend this restaurant to folks with no taste buds.

Enjoyed a great meal and good service. I had the New York Strip which was tender and done to perfection. Spouse had the spaghetti and meatball dinner which she enjoyed. Will definitely return.
